    • Volunteer for Design Lab Bridge! With so many major bridge projects underway in Cincinnati and NKY, Design LAB will use that energy to get students thinking about the possibilities bridges represent. Students will learn the basics of bridge building, but will also be challenged to dream big and push the boundaries of what these structures can look like, who they serve, and the problems they can solve. Volunteer instructors are paired with a teacher and together, they work through the curriculum provided in the resource guide. Volunteers make a one-hour visit to their assigned classroom every other week from January to May to teach students the basics of design and build a 2'x2' scale model. Learn more about the Design LAB in-school program and register to volunteer.
