Welcome to the inaugural edition of OVC ThisWeek, the Ohio Valley Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) weekly newsletter. Each week, this newsletter brings you a quick snapshot of the happenings in CSI, locally, in the Great Lakes region, and nationally as well as other information shaping the design and construction industry across Central and Southern Ohio.  We are always looking for input so to help tailor future editions, let us know If you have specific upcoming events to feature, member achievements/job changes, or specific deign/construction activities you would like us to mention. Thank you for reading, and we look forward to building a stronger, more connected regional AEC community together.

    • Must be a CSI Ohio Valley Chapter member in good standing.

  • August 11 - Biophilic Design & The Impact of Thermally Modified (TM) Wood in the US Parks & Recreation and Outdoor Spaces Categories
    We will review the process of thermal modification, its national impact in Parks & Recreation and all Outdoor Space Design & Specification, and high-heat dried TM wood’s technical insights, including detailed information about the product's processes, specifications, uses/applications, pricing, and performance.
