About Us
The Ohio Valley Chapter (formerly Cincinnati Chapter) of CSI (The Construction Specifications Institute) is in its seventh decade of serving the Southern Ohio design/construction community. With our diversified membership base of allied professionals, CSI is the place to be to share ideas and practices. We have no hierarchy of membership. All members of the design/construction community enjoy equal status in CSI making networking easy and enjoyable. But we do more than provide networking – expect high-quality education programs and events that help members share real-world solutions and better understand the roles and responsibilities of each member of the construction team.

On behalf of the Ohio Valley Chapter of CSI Board of Directors, we wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year.
Looking ahead to the construction trends in 2026, forecasts point to modest yet steady growth across the U.S. construction sector, driven by technology and public works investments. Locally, this is reflected in several large projects that will impart our communities, infrastructure and lives for the decades ahead.
Among these developments are the proposed data centers in Wilmington, OH, and Maysville, KY. With the role of technology ever increasing in our lives and work, the demand for facilities like this will continue. Additionally, major transportation initiatives such as the Brent Spence Bridge replacement, the Western Hills Viaduct replacement, and the widening of I-75 north of Cincinnati and I-71 south of Columbus promise to enhance connectivity through our region.
These projects aren’t created in a vacuum. They will require the expertise of construction professionals- architects, specifiers, general/sub-contractors and material suppliers. CSI offers members an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and broaden their skill set through our monthly meetings and the CSI Certification Programs, allowing these and the projects we work on each day to succeed.
Whether through education or networking, the Ohio Valley Chapter of CSI will continue to serve as a resource for our members. We urge all members to invite colleagues to a meeting. The greater the involvement of our architectural, design and manufacturing communities, the greater the learning. Thank you to all our current members for your support. We look forward to working and learning together in 2026.
