• We're on the Road Again! Our chapter program for October 13 takes us on the road to Lebanon, OH to tour the Ghent manufacturing facility.  Ghent specializes in making innovative products for visual communication, space division, and display furniture. Our factory tours are always fun and educational.  1 AIA LU/HSW credit is available.

• Canstruction 2027 Call for Entries is officially OPEN! Ready to make an impact? Join Canstruction 2027! Canstruction is an international community service project of the design and construction industry to benefit community food banks. With the support of local teams, thousands of hungry people are fed; a greater awareness of the issues surrounding hunger is brought to the public while spotlighting the local design and construction industry giving back to the community. Check out the schedule and register by October 30, 2026.
• CSI Great Lakes Region Conference. The 2027 Conference will be hosted by the Ohio Valley Chapter and will be held in Columbus, Ohio next spring.  We are currently looking for volunteers from our chapter to help organize the event (especially our members from the Columbus area). • Tales from the Shadows of the Imperial. Imperial Theatre Mohawk Alliance and Design LAB: Learn + Build will present an immersive, behind-the-scenes tour through the theatre's original doors and echoing halls while introducing them to the architects, engineers, and dreamers leading its restoration. October 17 and October 21. Register.

• Ohio Valley's Fellows. The CSI Fellowship is one of the highest honors a member can achieve. Bestowed by a peer-reviewed Jury of Fellows, it recognizes individuals with at least five years of continuous membership who have made exceptional contributions to the advancement of construction technology, specification improvements, education, or service to the Institute. We are proud to honor the two distinguished Fellows within our Ohio Valley Chapter. Thank you for your profound impact and long-standing service to CSI.

• Q&A With New CSI Fellow William "Chip" Hayward. This year, CSI welcomed William “Chip” Hayward, FCSI, CCS®, CCCA®, CDT®, to the CSI College of Fellows. He is one of only six distinguished professionals in the architecture, engineering, construction, and owner (AECO) industry named to the 2026 class. He was nominated through a rigorous application process, then elected by the Jury of Fellows for membership, one of the top honors given by CSI.
